it's hard to afford both based on different budgets both financally and time-management wise. Take me for example, I own a PS3, PSP, Wii and DS. My brother plays the Wii and DS , I never really do and same goes for my PSP. I'm on the college sched going for a second degree (1st was hard enough) and I can't spend hours on end playing games anymore to be able to provide both in school and financially through work.

Seriously though, I'm not fanboying it out, I'm saying that years after release, add-ons in performance and online integration aside, they REALLY need to get that hardware failure under control. As an open-minded consumer who would buy every console if there were a reason to do so, I can't justify buying a 360 because of it.

Luckily, judging by PS3 sales this year, not too many people outside of the XBOX crowd are buying into this crap.
All M$ can provide are multiplats on both console (360 & PS3) and PC. Sony busts out the big guns through first party titles and their long-standing relationships with Insomniac and Kojima Productions. And as the interviewee pointed out, who wins when the exclusives hit? Not the console providing the multiplatforms that's for sure. I guess Eurogamer's biased assessment of Battlefield: Bad Company being better on 360 didn't do much to stop PS3 from outselling it 2:1 this month. Just saying...
Pretty much every negative comment in this thread from a hardcore 360 fan is based on jealousy. Again, 360 fans pride themselves on stealing exclusives simply for bragging rights. Essentially, any "it's still coming to 360" comment isn't based on a desire to play the game, it's based on a desire to point fingers and laugh.
Luckily, thanks to Kojima, this won't be the case with MGS4.
